Join Us as Senior Financial Analyst!

Are you highly analytical, detail-oriented, and passionate about driving financial performance? ORBCOMM is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to support our fast-paced Finance team and contribute to the financial health of our global operations.

As a key member of our Finance team, you’ll be responsible for delivering accurate financial reporting, performing reconciliations, and providing insights that drive business decisions. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to ongoing process improvements, support critical projects, and work cross-functionally across departments.

With a flexible hybrid working schedule, you can enjoy the best of both worlds—engaging in-person collaboration at our Sterling or Ottawa office, while also enjoying the autonomy and comfort of remote work.

This role can be based in Sterling, VA or in Ottawa, ON.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform key financial reconciliations, including bank reconciliations and general ledger reviews
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and variance analyses for internal and external stakeholders
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Partner with internal teams to streamline financial workflows and controls
• Participate in special projects, including system implementations and process automation initiatives
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records in accordance with company policies and procedures

Who You Are:

You’re a detail-oriented, analytical professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can manage multiple priorities with precision. You also bring:

• A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in financial analysis or corporate finance
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., JD Edwards) is a plus
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
