Warehouse Manager Day shift
Reports to: Supply Chain Manager
Location: Wilson, NC
Shift: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
General Purpose
Oversee the daily operations of two warehouses, and train and supervise all warehouse staff. Organize the warehouses in a way that product flows in and out in the most efficient manner to ensure uninterrupted production. The Warehouse Manager must develop relationships with manufacturing that will foster a positive partnership, facilitate resolution with customers and internal issues, and drive systems, processes, and continuous improvement. Offer support to internal and external customers in the coordination of warehouse improvement efforts. Support our certifications including but not limited to SQF, HACCP and ISO.
Principle Accountabilities
- Schedule and oversee warehouse team and manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency and minimize overtime.
- Review and prepare workflows, staffing requirements, space allocations, equipment layouts, and action plans that meet company standards for productivity, quality, and customer service.
- Analyze production requirements and ensure that materials are properly staged to meet the production schedule.
- Ensure that the warehouse operates at peak efficiency — with customer satisfaction the primary goal — by supervising, organizing, and training warehouse employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operational goals.
- Develop and maintain detailed inventories of materials and supplies located in the company.
- Maintain required quantity of supplies and materials to optimize production.
- Analyze current inventories and procedures; suggest improvements to increase efficiency of the warehouse and profitability for the company.
- Develop policies to increase efficiency throughout the warehouse while ensuring quality and safety; implement subsequent changes to processes.
- Assess the need for material-handling equipment and staffing; make recommendations to ensure efficient loading, unloading, movement, and storage of materials.
- Inspect equipment, tools, and machinery regularly, and oversee general maintenance when necessary.
- Oversee and manage logistics for transporting products to customers and company facilities, communicating with drivers and air/sea partners to ensure efficient delivery of packages.
- Monitor the performance of carriers, assessing their ability to meet quality and delivery requirements; identify and qualify new carriers.
- Support and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Follow all safety regulations.
- Report all accidents or near misses.
- Adheres to all environmental and quality standards.
- Any other tasks that may be necessary to meet the production schedule in a safe and efficient manner.

Position Differentiation by Level
Level 1 - Pay Range: $50,000 - $65,000
Education/Experience:
- Requires a Bachelor's
degree in Business or
related field

molding industry or related
area

thorough knowledge of the
injection molding industry

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit at a desk and occasionally walk throughout the production and warehouse areas. The atmosphere is climatic controlled.
